Lovely Music offers high-quality violins, violas, and cellos for rent in all sizes.
Basses are available in 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 sizes.

RENTAL CREDIT PROGRAM
Our equity-building Rental Credit Program allows families to apply accrued rental payments toward the purchase of a new instrument.
Please note:
This is not a rent-to-own program, and rental instruments are not for sale.
How Rental Credit Works
Rental credit equals the total rental payments made minus the insurance portion
Up to one year of rental credit may be applied toward 50% of the purchase price of a new instrument
Sales tax is calculated on the full instrument value at the time of purchase
(rental fees are not taxed)
Rental credit remains active for one full year after the rental contract ends
Families with multiple rental contracts may combine credits
Rental Credit Cannot Be Applied To
Rental-grade or consignment instruments
Bows, accessories, or repair services
Any account that has gone into collections
(all credits will be forfeited)
RENTAL INSURANCE
Each rental includes insurance that covers:
Normal wear and tear
(scratches, open seams, minor breakage)
Adjustments to the bridge, pegs, or soundpost
String replacement
Insurance Does Not Cover
Bow rehairing
Rosin or other accessories
Important:
If an instrument is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair (repair costs exceed its value), the renter is responsible for the full replacement value of the instrument.
TERMS & PRICING
Rental contracts are issued in three-month periods and automatically renew quarterly
Payment is due on the first day of each rental period
A five-day grace period is provided before a $5 late fee is applied
Charges are not prorated
Once the grace period has passed, renters are responsible for the full upcoming quarter
